Abstract

In simultaneous interpretation, listening comprehension is a critical skill that underpins accuracy, fluidity, and effectiveness. Given the unique challenges of SI—including cognitive load, time constraints, and information density—interpreters need specialized training to develop their listening comprehension skills.
