The Communicative Approach (CA) is a widely used method in EFL teaching that emphasizes meaningful communication to improve speaking skills. This paper explores how CA enhances fluency and communicative competence through interactive activities like role-plays and task-based learning. While it focuses on fluency over accuracy, it creates an engaging learning environment that helps learners gain confidence in speaking. Despite some challenges, CA proves to be an effective approach for developing EFL learners' speaking abilities.
