Ushbu maqolada zamonaviy oziq-ovqat mahsulotlari tarkibida topilayotgan mayda plastik zarrachalar (mikroplastiklar) va ularning inson salomatligiga ta’siri masalasi tahlil qilinadi. Dastlab mikroplastiklarning kelib chiqish manbalari, oziq-ovqat zanjiriga qanday kirib borishi, suv, dengiz mahsulotlari, tuz va boshqa kundalik iste’mol qilinadigan mahsulotlar orqali inson organizmiga qanday yetib borishi haqida ma’lumotlar keltiriladi. Maqola keng jamoatchilik, tibbiyot mutaxassislari va oziq-ovqat xavfsizligi sohasidagi tadqiqotchilar uchun foydali.
