This article explores the most common lexical and grammatical errors found in the written English of middle school learners. Based on language acquisition theories and practical observations, the study identifies frequent types of mistakes, their potential causes, and offers pedagogical recommendations for reducing these errors. Findings suggest that native language interference, insufficient vocabulary, and underdeveloped writing habits are the leading factors behind learners’ difficulties.
