Abstract

Leguminous plants are of great importance to humans. Mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) is one of the most important grain legumes grown in Asia. Mung bean is a warm-season crop, requiring 90-120 days of frost-free conditions and a certain amount of water from planting to ripening. Cultivation of mung beans in conditions of global water scarcity has been studied and continues to be studied by a number of scientists.
