Abstract

This thesis explores the principle of language economy, examining how this concept influences linguistic structure and evolution. By analyzing phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic aspects, the study highlights the ways in which languages strive to maximize efficiency while maintaining clarity and expressiveness. This research incorporates insights from various linguistic theorists, providing a comprehensive understanding of how the principle of economy shapes language development and functioning.
