This study examines the role of virtual technologies in enhancing intercultural communication competence (ICC) among future English language teachers. As globalization accelerates, understanding cultural differences in communication becomes increasingly essential. Foreign language training (FLT) should incorporate intercultural components beyond language and grammar, fostering reflection on cultural practices and values. This paper discusses the theoretical and empirical aspects of integrating virtual technologies into language education, exploring challenges, innovative teaching strategies, and the effectiveness of emerging technological tools. The findings suggest that virtual environments enhance ICC development, but limitations exist in current educational frameworks. The study concludes with recommendations for curriculum development and teacher training, emphasizing the importance of technology in preparing future educators for intercultural communication.
