THE SIGNIFICANCE OF LEARNING MANY LANGUAGES AS A YOUNG CHILD

В данной статье делается попытка прояснить важность изучения языка в молодом возрасте. Это, пожалуй, самый сложный и спорный вопрос среди лингвистов, философов, психологов и методистов: как ребенок изучает иностранный язык? Исследователи утверждают, что дети рождаются со способностью изучать язык и что обучение начинается в младенчестве. Наконец, в этой статье подчеркиваются преимущества и недостатки изучения иностранного языка в детстве.Abstract
This paper attempts to clarify the importance of language learning at young age. This is perhaps the most complex and arguable question among linguists, philosophers, psychologists and methodologists: how a child learns a foreign language? Researchers says that babies are born with the ability to learn a language and that learning begins at infancy. Finally, this paper highlights advantage and disadvantages of learning foreign language in childhood.
