This article analyzes the development of design and modeling skills in the field of design and modeling of garments among students of higher educational institutions using modern methods. The ways of improving the quality of the educational process are revealed, in particular, achieving the effectiveness of STEM education in developing the personal qualities of students. As a result, it was discussed that the organization of the educational process will create opportunities for the development of independent thinking, creativity and technical skills of students, as well as for improving their knowledge and skills.
