“THE INTERPRETATION OF PSYCHOLOGICAL STATEMENT IN “A ROSE FOR EMILY” BY WILLIAM FAULKNER”

This material reflects main points of psychological interpretation of literature. In "A Rose for Emily," William Faulkner examines the mental health of Emily Grierson, a character who suffers from mental illness. Because of social pressures and her father's control, the plot centers on her loneliness, resistance to change, and death. In this work story is analyzed in a formal way, describing each character’s relation to each other and consequences of their actions.
