Abstract

An extensive comparison of stylistic devices in Uzbek and English is provided in this page.  A vital tool of language, stylistic devices—also referred to as rhetorical devices or figures of speech—improve expression, elicit strong feelings, and influence literary meaning.  Through an analysis of metaphors, similes, hyperboles, irony, and other linguistic occurrences, this study investigates how many cultural, historical, and structural characteristics impact how they are used in Uzbek and English.  For linguists, translators, and language learners, it also detects culturally specific stylistic expressions as well as universal purposes.
