Abstract

Small businesses play a crucial role in the economic development of many countries, contributing to employment, innovation, and economic diversification. In Uzbekistan, the government has taken significant steps to integrate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into international trade and foreign economic activities. This paper presents a statistical assessment of the role of small businesses in Uzbekistan's foreign economic activity, examining their share in exports, imports, and foreign direct investment (FDI). The study explores trends, challenges, and opportunities, providing an in-depth analysis of statistical data and policy implications for further development.
