Abstract

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common sustained cardiac arrhythmia encountered in clinical practice. It is associated with increased risks of stroke, heart failure, and all-cause mortality. The burden of AF continues to grow with the aging population and increasing prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors. Effective prevention strategies are essential to reduce the incidence and complications associated with AF.
