CLINICAL FEATURES AND LABORATORY FINDINGS OF NON-IGE–MEDIATED FOOD PROTEIN-INDUCED ENTEROCOLITIS SYNDROME (FPIES) IN CHILDREN
Abstract
Background: Gastrointestinal complaints are a common reason for pediatric medical consultations. Among these, food allergies in the early years of life represent a significant proportion of gastrointestinal disorders. Non-IgE-mediated food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) is an underrecognized condition requiring clinical awareness and diagnostic clarity.
