Abstract

This article highlights the selection of promising poplar species and their agro-technologies for cultivation under the conditions of Karakalpakstan. Poplar (Populus) is a climate-resistant tree species with ecological significance, used in the arid regions of Karakalpakstan to protect soil from erosion, produce biomass, and provide shade for agricultural crops. The study examines the adaptation of poplar varieties to climatic conditions and the optimal technologies for their care.
