Abstract

This article explores the process of teaching speaking skills in preschool education, highlighting its importance in children's language development. Key aspects of assessment include fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, and expression. Fluency reflects a child's ability to communicate smoothly, while accuracy focuses on correct grammar and vocabulary use. Pronunciation ensures clarity, and expression evaluates how well children convey emotions through language. The research suggests that methods like storytelling, role-playing, and interactive play can significantly improve speaking abilities. These strategies engage children in natural language use, fostering both skill development and confidence. Ultimately, a diverse approach to teaching speaking in early childhood enhances overall language proficiency.
