Ushbu maqolada chizma geometriya fanining tarixiy shakllanish bosqichlari, uning dastlabki ko‘rinishlaridan tortib, mustaqil fan sifatida rivojlanishigacha bo‘lgan jarayonlar yoritilgan. Xususan, qadimgi sivilizatsiyalardagi sodda geometrik tasvirlar, Evklid geometriyasining asoslari hamda Gaspard Monj tomonidan ishlab chiqilgan proyeksiyalash usullari asosida chizma geometriyaning ilmiy fan sifatida shakllanishi tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, ushbu fan zamonaviy texnologiyalar, kompyuter grafikasi va CAD tizimlari bilan integratsiyalashgani hamda hozirgi muhandislik va arxitektura sohalaridagi ahamiyati haqida ma’lumot berilgan. Maqola chizma geometriya fanining tarixiy va amaliy ahamiyatini ko‘rsatib, uni o‘rganishning dolzarbligini asoslab beradi.
