Abstract

Technical report writing is an essential skill for energy engineers, as they must communicate complex data, system performance analyses, and research findings effectively. This paper explores how English for Specific Purposes (ESP) training enhances technical report writing skills in energy engineering. It highlights the importance of discipline-specific vocabulary, structured writing formats, data interpretation, and AI-powered writing tools. Additionally, the role of intercultural communication in global energy projects is discussed. The findings suggest that ESP-based training significantly improves engineers' ability to produce clear, professional, and standardized technical reports.
