ROLE OF NON-ALCOHOLIC FATTY LIVER DISEASE IN PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS AND WAYS TO OPTIMIZE THERAPY

62 patients were organized. 9 males and 53 females,the age of patients is from the age of 18 to 75 years(the median age is 52.5+0.9). The duration of the disease is from 6 months to 26 years. Patients with early psoriasis were compared with patients without arthritis (PsА) with psoriasis. On the first visit to the clinic, a primary analysis of the body weight index (BWI) was performed on the patient. In order to reduce the activity of the disease, all patients were prescribed diet, basic treatment of psoriatic arthritis in combination with curative physical training, and pioglitazone 30mg, hepatoprotector (geptral 400mg). In order to control the effect of the conducted treatment and treat the disease activity indicator, patients were re-examined every month.Abstract

Psoriatic arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease, characterized by an autoimmune nature, which is mainly accompanied by damage to the skin, later joints and internal organs. There is a high risk of developing metabolic syndrome in psoriatic arthritis. One of the most common observed diseases in the hepatobiliary system in metabolic syndrome is non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
