Abstract

In chronic heart failure developed on the basis of rheumatic heart defects, inflammatory processes are long and hidden. This ultimately leads to the development of fibrotic processes in the interstitial tissue of the heart. The results of correlation and regression analysis showed an increase in galectin-3 indicators in parallel with inflammatory processes in patients.
