This article covers the issues of effective use of modern pedagogical technologies in the educational process. The essence of pedagogical technologies, their role in developing creative thinking and independent work skills of pupils and students is analyzed. It also discusses the advantages and results of applying interactive methods, innovative approaches, information and communication technologies to the educational process. The article highlights the importance of new technologies in the formation of modern pedagogical competence of a teacher on a scientific basis.
