This paper explores the morphological and semantic characteristics of social-political newspaper texts in English and Uzbek, based on materials from The New York Times and O’zbekiston Ovozi. By conducting a comparative linguistic analysis, it identifies both structural and meaning-based tendencies in how information is presented in these two distinct linguistic and cultural contexts. This research aims to contribute to cross-linguistic studies of media discourse by analyzing derivational and inflectional morphology, lexical choices, and semantic strategies used in news texts.
