THE ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

This paper investigates the critical role of entrepreneurship in driving economic transformation in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Using a macroeconomic and institutional analysis framework, the study assesses the influence of entrepreneurial activity on job creation, innovation, poverty reduction, and regional development. Drawing on national economic data from 2010 to 2023, the research explores the evolution of Uzbekistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, regulatory reforms, and investment climate. A multiple regression model is applied to examine the relationship between entrepreneurial activity and key socio-economic indicators, such as GDP growth, employment rates, and SME development. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial growth positively correlates with economic diversification and regional competitiveness. Based on the analysis, the paper outlines strategic recommendations to strengthen Uzbekistan’s entrepreneurship landscape and promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
