Abstract

Lexical expressive means and stylistic devices are essential components of language that enhance communication by adding depth, emotion, and nuance to written and spoken discourse. These tools allow writers and speakers to convey complex ideas, evoke emotions, and create vivid imagery. This article explores the various lexical expressive means—such as metaphor, simile, hyperbole, irony, and others—and examines how they function within different stylistic contexts. By analyzing examples from literature and everyday language, this paper highlights the significance of these devices in enriching textual meaning and engaging audiences. The discussion underscores the importance of understanding and employing these techniques effectively to craft compelling narratives and persuasive arguments.
