Abstract

The essay covers color idioms as one of the most effective communication methods for teaching foreign languages. Colour idioms indicate action, alter emotion, and elicit physiological responses. The paper emphasizes the necessity of acquiring these idioms and focuses on the most successful teaching tactics for increasing motivation and reinforcing the idea of language acquisition.
