This article provides a detailed analysis of the different soil types found in the Fergana Valley, which is known for its rich agricultural heritage. It examines the different soil compositions such as chernozem (black soil), gray and brown soils, saline soils, alluvial soils, and eroded soils, highlighting their unique characteristics and impact on farming practices. The study examines how these soil types affect crop selection, irrigation methods, and soil fertility management. In addition, the article discusses issues related to soil degradation, water scarcity, and climate change, and provides insights into sustainable agricultural practices that can help mitigate these issues. This article serves as a resource for understanding the important relationships between soil and agriculture in one of the most important agricultural regions of Central Asia.
