Abstract

The study of slang vocabulary is vital in enhancing language learning, especially in informal settings. Slang is integral to every language, providing learners with the tools to understand and engage in casual conversations. This paper explores various effective methods of teaching slang vocabulary, focusing on context, cultural relevance, and student interaction. Approaches such as the use of multimedia, role-playing, and immersion in real-life communication scenarios are examined to increase student engagement and retention of slang expressions. Ultimately, the aim is to offer strategies that balance traditional language instruction with the dynamic nature of slang.
