CONSTITUTIONAL LAW - THE LEADING BRANCH OF LAW
Abstract
Constitutional law is the leading branch of law within the national legal system, as the constitution, possessing the highest legal force, serves as its primary source. As a fundamental law, the constitution effectively embodies a social contract, that is, a treaty concluded by the people with their state to ensure and guarantee the conditions for safe and independent development. For this reasons its ideas are embedded in all other laws in force in the country.[1]The provisions of the constitution, which embody common principles, are also developed in all branches of law existing in the country. To verify this, we refer to one of the chapters of our country's constitution, for example, the relevant chapter dedicated to the family.
