Abstract

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, especially in the Nukus district, environmental problems such as drought, salinity, and reduced soil fertility are seriously affecting agriculture. This thesis examines the scientific and methodological aspects of assessing the ecological status of cropland using modern GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS), remote sensing (ENVI, Sentinel-2), statistical analysis (R, Python), and database (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) tools.
