Abstract

In the realm of education, assessments are pivotal in measuring student learning, guiding instruction, and ensuring academic standards are met. Two primary types of assessments—formative and summative—play distinct yet complementary roles in the classroom. Understanding their purposes, methods, and impacts can significantly enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.
