Abstract

The integration of drawing into teaching methodology plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ spatial thinking, visual literacy, and conceptual understanding, particularly in engineering and technical education. This paper explores the pedagogical value of drawing as both a cognitive and communicative tool in the learning process. It outlines the scientific research stages used to investigate the effectiveness of drawing-based instruction, including problem identification, hypothesis formulation, experimental design, and data analysis. The research employed mixed methods, combining qualitative observations and quantitative assessments to measure improvements in students’ comprehension and engagement. Findings suggest that incorporating structured drawing tasks in teaching enhances learner motivation and facilitates deeper conceptual learning. This study provides methodological guidance for educators seeking to integrate visual strategies into curriculum design effectively.
