Abstract

Gulkhani's "Zarbulmasal" is a rare masterpiece that holds a significant place in the history of Uzbek literature. This article thoroughly analyzes the role of stories within the work, their genre characteristics, and their ideological, artistic, and educational significance. The article illuminates the allegorical nature of the stories in "Zarbulmasal," their role in exposing societal flaws, and their importance in promoting human virtues such as justice and honesty, all based on academic sources. It is emphasized that Gulkhani skillfully depicted the lifestyle, aspirations, and sufferings of the people through his stories, and that the work has not lost its relevance over centuries.
