Abstract

The article discusses the importance of developing creative thinking in primary school students as an integral part of their general education. The main pedagogical approaches that contribute to the development of students' creative potential are characterized, such as learning through inquiry, project activities, and the use of arts in the educational process. Attention is also paid to the use of information technology and digital platforms for the development of creative abilities. Particular attention is paid to the role of teachers in creating an atmosphere conducive to the creative development of children. The problems faced by the education system, such as standardized examinations and insufficient teacher training, are also discussed in the article. Recommendations include the need to improve the qualifications of teachers and the introduction of innovative educational methods.
