Abstract

This thesis explores the implementation of syntactic stylistic devices in detective novels, focusing on how these devices contribute to the genre's unique narrative style and enhance reader engagement. The study examines various syntactic elements, such as sentence structure, ellipsis and syntactic parallelism, and analyzes their roles in creating suspense, developing characters, and establishing mood.
