Effective management is not only about strategic planning, but also about understanding human behavior and motivation. This study examines the role of psychology in management and emphasizes how leaders shape workplace success through psychological principles and management practices.
Using a qualitative research approach, the study reviews the literature on motivation theories, emotional intelligence, and behavioral economics. Major systems such as Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Herzberg's two-factor theory, and Goleman's emotional intelligence model provide insights into employee engagement and leadership effectiveness. The study highlights the influence of motivation, communication and decision-making on managerial practice.
Findings show that psychologically informed leadership improves workplace relationships, reduces employee turnover, and increases productivity. By integrating psychological principles into management, organizations can create a positive and productive working environment. Future research could explore how emerging psychological trends influence contemporary leadership strategies. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the psychological dynamics that lead to organizational success.
