This paper explores the emergence of neologisms in contemporary society, examining their origins, usage, and the impact they have on communication, social behavior, and identity. The study highlights how neologisms reflect evolving societal values, technological advancements, and changing norms, particularly in the realms of digital communication and youth culture. Furthermore, the paper addresses the role of neologisms in shaping linguistic innovation, as well as their influence on traditional language structures and the potential consequences for language preservation. By analyzing various case studies and examples, this research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how modern neologisms influence both individual and collective identity in the digital age.
