Abstract

Maqolada rayhon (Ocimum basilicum) o‘simligining oziq-ovqat sanoatidagi o‘rni, uning kelib chiqishi, turli madaniyatlarda qo‘llanilishi, foydali va zararli xususiyatlari yoritilgan. Rayhonning ziravor, konservant va ichimliklar tarkibida qo‘llanilishi, shuningdek, uning antibakterial, antioksidant va ovqat hazm qilishni yaxshilovchi xususiyatlari tahlil qilingan. Rayhonning allergik reaktsiyalar, estragol moddasining xavfi va qon ivishini sekinlashtiruvchi ta’siri kabi zararli tomonlari ham ko‘rib chiqilgan.
