FURTHER IMPROVEMENT IN THE USE OF THE ILLUSTRATION METHOD TO DEVELOP AUDITORY SPEECH SKILLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS IN GRADES 10-11
Abstract
This thesis investigates the enhancement of auditory speech skills in advanced English language learners in grades 10-11 through the improved use of the illustration method. By examining current practices and integrating novel approaches such as technology, gamification, and cross-modal sensory integration, the study aims to improve learners' phonological awareness, prosodic comprehension, and overall listening skills. Significant improvements were noted in these areas, suggesting that the innovative adaptations of the illustration method can effectively augment traditional pedagogical techniques.
