Abstract

This study examines the issues related to the axiological approach in the education and upbringing of students and youth, focusing on the role of values in the formation of learners’ personalities. The research analyzes theoretical foundations of axiology in pedagogy and explores how value-based education contributes to students’ moral development, social responsibility, and cultural identity. Particular attention is given to the integration of universal, national, and humanistic values within the educational process. The study also highlights contemporary challenges in implementing the axiological approach, including value conflicts, globalization influences, and the need to balance academic instruction with moral upbringing. The findings emphasize that a systematic axiological approach is essential for ensuring the holistic development of students and youth in modern educational contexts.
