Abstract

This article explores innovative methods of teaching reading in 6th form education. The ability to comprehend and analyze complex texts is a crucial skill for students at this stage, as it lays the foundation for academic success and lifelong learning. Traditional teaching approaches often focus on passive reading comprehension, but with the advent of new technologies and pedagogical strategies, educators now have a wide range of innovative methods at their disposal. This article highlights some effective approaches, including digital literacy, active reading strategies, and collaborative learning, that can enhance reading skills and foster a deeper understanding of texts among 6th form students.
