A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF HIGHER EDUCATION PRACTICES: INSIGHTS FROM A SEMESTER ABROAD IN THE UNITED STATES
Abstract
This paper presents a comparative analysis of higher education systems in Uzbekistan and the United States, drawing on personal experiences from a semester abroad at Wilson College in Pennsylvania. Through examining the structural, academic, and cultural differences between the two systems, the study explores the strengths and weaknesses of each model. The findings suggest that the American system offers greater flexibility, personalization, and technological integration, which contribute to a more supportive and efficient learning environment.
