Abstract

This article explores the speed of light, its fundamental properties, and the various methods developed to measure it accurately. The historical progression of key experiments—from Fizeau’s rotating toothed wheel to Foucault’s rotating mirrors and Michelson’s improvements—is examined to highlight advancements in measurement techniques.
