This article investigates the linguistic characteristics of English compounds that contain the semantic element "eye." It looks at their syntactic behavior, semantic classifications, and morphological structure. The study also looks into idiomatic expressions, metaphorical extensions, and the function of "eye" compounds in discourse. This study sheds light on the dynamic nature of compounding and semantic change by examining how they are used in modern English.
