Ushbu maqolada neyromediatorlarning biosintezi, ularning asab tizimidagi funksional ahamiyati hamda biosintez jarayonidagi buzilishlar sabab bo‘ladigan kasalliklar keng yoritilgan. Dopamin, serotonin, asetilxolin va GABA kabi asosiy neyromediatorlarning sintez mexanizmlari, ularni shakllantiruvchi fermentlar va metabolik bosqichlar izohlangan. Shuningdek, ularning yetishmovchiligi yoki ortiqcha ishlab chiqarilishi natijasida yuzaga keladigan Parkinson kasalligi, depressiya, shizofreniya, Altsgeymer kasalligi va epilepsiya kabi klinik holatlar tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot neyromediator biosintezining normal asab tizimi faoliyatini saqlash va nevrologik kasalliklarni erta aniqlashdagi muhim o‘rnini ko‘rsatadi.
