IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH THROUGH METHODOLOGICAL REFLECTION

This paper examines the role of methodological reflection in improving the quality of pedagogical research. It identifies the most common methodological weaknesses in educational studies, analyzes their effects on validity and reliability, and proposes strategies for their prevention and correction. A comparative-analytical review of 32 recent international publications (2018–2024) demonstrates that design-related errors, insufficient theoretical justification, and statistical inaccuracies remain widespread. The findings highlight that methodological reflection, combined with transparency, mixed-method approaches, and methodological culture, significantly enhances the credibility of pedagogical research. Practical recommendations are offered for integrating reflection into academic practice and researcher training.
