Abstract

This article explores the economic effects of digitalization in Uzbekistan, focusing on the country’s transition to a digital economy within the framework of the "Digital Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy. The study highlights key developments in internet infrastructure, digital public services, financial technologies (FinTech), and the ICT sector's growing role in GDP and employment. Using statistical data and policy analysis, the article demonstrates how digitalization contributes to economic growth, efficiency, and transparency while also addressing existing challenges such as the digital divide and digital literacy.
