This study explores the complexities of translating neologisms from English into Uzbek, focusing on linguistic, cultural, and contextual challenges. Neologisms — newly coined words or expressions — often emerge in rapidly evolving fields such as technology, media, and pop culture, making their translation particularly demanding. Using qualitative methods, the research analyzes samples of recent English neologisms and their equivalents or lack thereof in Uzbek. The study concludes that successful translation of neologisms depends on creative adaptation, understanding of sociocultural background, and consistent linguistic strategies.
