Abstract

This paper examines the legal and institutional foundations for improving banking supervision based on international experience. It analyzes the alignment of banking regulations with global standards such as Basel III, emphasizing the importance of capital adequacy, liquidity, and independent supervisory bodies. The study offers recommendations for enhancing Uzbekistan's banking supervision, focusing on strengthening legal frameworks, institutional independence, and international cooperation to ensure financial stability.
