- Abstract
-
Quantitative methods, based on statistical and numerical analysis, offer a systematic approach to linguistic research. This paper explores the implementation of quantitative methods in studying linguistic phenomena, especially in morphology, syntax, and sociolinguistics. Through data collection, measurement, and statistical interpretation, linguists gain insights into frequency, distribution, and patterns of language use. The research highlights the advantages of combining quantitative data with qualitative interpretations to strengthen the reliability and depth of linguistic analysis. Particular attention is given to how quantitative approaches support empirical studies in both English and Uzbek linguistics.
