This research investigates and contrasts the application of stylistic devices in the Uzbek and English languages. By examining selected literary works, the study uncovers both shared features and distinctive traits in the use of metaphors, similes, alliteration, and hyperbole. The results demonstrate that although both languages use such devices to enrich expression, their application is shaped by cultural and structural characteristics unique to each language.
